A staff of the
Shambhala Travels & Tours will meet and assist you at the
airport and provide transportation to the hotel if requested in
advance. Upon arrival, a travelers orientation devised by
the companys western advisors will be presented.This orientation
concerns healthcare precautions and ethnic customs in order to
keep travelers healthy and safe during their visit to the East.
Insurance:
Travel insurance can be purchased
by the client at either the point of origin or through Shambhala
Travels & Tours.
Cancellation
& Refund:
Any
change, alteration or re-routing of the itinerary should be communicated
to us immediately. If the tour is cancelled 45 days prior to commencement
date, 90% of the deposit will be refunded. The deposit will not
be refunded if cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to
commencement date.
There
will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks
prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure
date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay
arrivals whatsoever reason.

Booking

Confirmed
reservation should reach us 1 month prior to Tour departure date
along with 50% Non-refundable deposit per person or according
to special negotiations made.
Visa
Foreigner who intends
to visit Nepal must hold valid passport or any travel document
equivalent to passport issued by the Govt. for visiting a foreign
country prior to apply for visa
Tourist Visa Extension
A tourist visa can
be extended upto 120 days from the Department of Immigration in
Kathmandu and Pokhara Immigration Office on request. Then after
an additional 30 days can be extended from Department of Immigration
on reasonable ground, which ensures one's departure from the country
within 150 days in one visa year.
Don't or Do's
- A tourist may stay in Nepal upto 150 days in a visa year (Jan-Dec).
- A tourist must extend his/her visa before expiry of the visa
validity period. - A tourist who does not comply with these regulations
may be liable of fine and other prosecution as provided in Immigration
Act and Rules.
- A Foreigner having obtained tourist visa shall not allowed to
work with or without receiving remuneration.
- A foreigner shall not be allowed to carry out any work other
than that for which purpose s/he has obtained the visa.

Kathmandu is connected direct from Vienna, Amsterdam, Moscow,
Sharjah, Dhaka, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Paro, Lhasa, New Delhi, Mumbai,
Calcutta and Varanasi by Royal Nepal Airlines, Biman Bangladesh
Airlines, China South-West Airlines, Druk Air, Indian Airlines,
Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air, Transavia, Gulf Air, Qatar Airlines
and Thai International.

persons. More people cost less, less people cost more.

undertaking tours, transportation, hotel accommodation and any
other client services, with the express understanding that the
company, while exercising every possible precaution, is in no
way responsible or liable for any injury, accident, damage, death,
loss, additional expense, delay, any change and alteration in
the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, such as landslides,
road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of
flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents, inconvenience or
any other irregularity caused in connection with the execution
of client services arranged by Shambhala Travels & Tours,
its agents or employees.
Any extra cost incurring
thereof shall be borne by the client on the spot. It is most advisable
for clients to have full insurance against medical and personal
accidents. Cancel insurance is also highly recommended.
